A photographic Tribute to Women, Nature, and the British Landscape

Conceived and creatively directed by Claire Harrison, Fallen Flowers is a visually arresting and deeply immersive body of work created in collaboration with fashion and floral stylist, art director and writer Adelaide Turnbull.

Bringing together photography, floral installation and written narrative, Fallen Flowers explores the enduring connection between women and the natural world; where strength and delicacy coexist, and where human presence and landscape are held in equal balance.

Shot across the British countryside over three summers beginning in 2022, the project captures eleven distinct landscapes shaped by seasonality, weather, and light. From an enchanting bluebell forest to shifting fields of colour, each setting becomes both backdrop and subject; alive, unpredictable, and deeply atmospheric.

About Claire Harrison

Claire Harrison is a London-based beauty photographer and director whose practice centres on skin texture, the sculptural form of the human body, nature, and the transformative qualities of colour. With a background in fine art, she combines a painterly sensibility with a meticulous approach to lighting and set design, creating immersive visual worlds that feel both instinctive and refined.

About Adelaide Turnbull

Adelaide Turnbull is a fashion stylist, art director, floral stylist, and writer. Her multidisciplinary approach brings together fashion, floristry, and storytelling, shaping environments that feel both considered and intuitive. Within Fallen Flowers, she contributed to floral styling, co-art direction, location finding and the written narrative, helping to build the layered, atmospheric world of the project.
